I changed my workshop structure to i make the instructions shorter yet more direct and clear for the participants of my intervention

Workshop Structure:

1. Introduction and Context Setting (10 minutes)

  • Overview: Brief participants on the scope and scale of the counterfeit cosmetics problem on social media, including the risks to consumer health, brand reputation, and the environment.

  • Statistics and Case Studies: Present real-world examples and data on how counterfeit cosmetics spread via social media, highlighting the financial and ethical implications.

2.Problem-Solving Workshop (45 minutes)

  • Objective: Participants will work in cross-functional teams to tackle specific challenges related to counterfeit cosmetics on social media.

  • Scenario: Present a way in order to tackle the issue presented

  • Task: The team must develop a prototype addressing the problem of counterfeits and social media.Consider:

    • Cybersecurity

    • Social Media Strategy

    • Consumer Education

    • Sustainability

  • Output: Team creates a short presentation summarizing what created and why

3.Presentation (10 minutes)

  • Presentation: The group presents their final product

4.Final Discussion and Next Steps (15 minutes)

  • Recap: Summarize the key insights from the workshop.

  • Action Plan: Discuss how participants can implement what created in their lives

  • Q&A: Open the floor for questions and further discussion on how to combat counterfeit cosmetics more effectively.
